Background and Concept of " Er Shao "  (literally the Second Young Master)


Hong Kong people have always loved Hong Kong-style milk tea. Although various milk teas have been popular in Taiwan in the past decade, it cannot stop Hong Kong people from loving the unique taste of the Hong Kong-style milk tea.  It is perhaps a habit, but more likely a sentiment.  For more than 30 years, “Jintaipan” Cafe has been dedicating to offering taste bud satisfaction  to customers. "Er Shao" milk tea is developed by it’s parent company “Jintaipan” Café. Cool Er Shao (also known as the Fitness Mascular Boy) endeavours to inherit his father's business.  Although “Er Shao” received Western education, he still cares very much to uphold the Chinese virtue of "child inherits father's business". He gives up his promising career as professional personal fitness trainer and down-plays it as a side-line hobby but at the same time turns optimistic about the future of Hong Kong-style Milk Tea Culture. He adopts the unique tea recipes handed down from his dad for 30 years and determines to carry forward the authentic Hong Kong-style "silk stocking milk tea". He partners with an award-winning creative master in the catering industry to jointly develop the special "hand-made bottle milk tea" technology, ending up with today's shinning "Er Shao Milk Tea" !

In addition to Er Shao milk tea, there is also Er Shao Twins (mixture of coffee and tea).  Its special feature lies in the ratio of coffee and milk tea, which is also slightly adjusted according to the traditional 7:3 ratio.  With a unique formula, our Bar Chef had also won the first runner-up in an international hand-made Coffee-Tea Twin Drinks competition in 2018.  This secret recipe compiling a perfect ratio of  coffee and tea coupled with skill and experience of the Bar Chef has made Er Shao Milk Tea and Er Shao Twin Drinks the most popular for the  time.

The brand new packaging incorporates the image of the young master “Er Shao” in his Tang-style Kung Fu suit.

 

The trendy color "DIRTY GREEN" is chosen to highlight the meaning of the brand's protagonist "Cool Er Shao" inheriting the family legacy with an innovative look.  As a young man brought up in housing estates, the young master “Er Shao” now puts on special clothing to rebrand his hand-made Hong Kong-style silk stocking milk tea. The Tang-style suit also signifies the role of inheriting family traditions. And the classic Flying Dragon soft background  design will remind customers whenever you see Er Shao milk tea, not only you could enjoy the authentic taste, but will be deeply touched by the inheritance of a family traditional business in its packaging - the feeling of a taste of home.

The perfect formula, continuous experimentation, and rigorous production steps have led us to produce bottled milk tea with machines.
