Not an accountant or fitness coach! Post-80s generation returns to start a Bing Sutt, making Hong Kong-produced bottled milk tea, selling 20,000 bottles a month, reinterpreting the old Bing Sutt script【#BFMinutes】
Instead of taking over the family business, a second-generation Bing Sutt owner chose to start anew, creating a taste of Hong Kong for the new generation. Isaac, the post-80s owner of "Kam Yi Siu Bing Sutt", studied and worked as an accountant in Canada. After returning to Hong Kong, he became a fitness coach for 10 years, and during the pandemic, he helped manage his father's Bing Sutt. Ultimately, he chose not to directly take over the old shop, but to start a new venture.
Isaac believes that to stand out, one cannot simply "defend" the existing business; it's crucial to productize the brand's soul. Therefore, he turned the Bing Sutt's best-selling milk tea into "bottled milk tea" and opened a new Bing Sutt called "Kam Yi Siu" in Tsim Sha Tsui. He insists on "Made in Hong Kong," with the bottled milk tea freshly produced daily in a factory with seven-figure operating costs, without preservatives, successfully entering the retail market.
